Join Us for a Talk on Mass Photometry - An Analytical Technology for Biomolecular Characterization
Mass photometry utilises the interferometric scattering microscopy technology and can measure the mass of individual biomolecules in solution. Measurements take only a few minutes and use a few microlitres of sample at nM concentration. This method allows accurate measurement of the interaction between different biomolecules in a universal, label-free fashion with molecular resolution, transforming our ability to characterise the composition, structure, and dynamics of biomolecules.
At this talk, Refeyn will demonstrate the utility of the TwoMP model including (i) analysis of complexes, (ii) interaction studies, (iii) sample characterization, and others. They will also discuss the capability of the SamuxMP model which is explicitly tailored to measure empty/full ratios of adeno-associated viruses (AAVs).

Bhaskar has recently joined Refeyn as a field applications scientist serving the APAC region. Having more than 10 years of research experience, he will provide technical support to the scientific community in Asia-Pacific, helping researchers utilize Refeyn's products and technologies effectively. Prior to joining Refeyn, Bhaskar conducted research on plant-based flu vaccine assessment, development of multiplex molecular diagnostics for sepsis and purification of recombinant enzymes. He graduated with a Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore.
