Anti-Rabies Nucleocapsid Conjugate; lyophilizied, adsorbed

Anti-Rabies Nucleocapsid Conjugate, with the Rabies-specific labelled polyclonal Antibodies contained, is targeted against the ribo-nucleoprotein complex of the Rabies virus, all currently known Lyssavirusgenotypes can be detected with the direct immunofluorescencetest (IFT) irrespective of the animal species tested.

    Principle

Anti-Rabies Nucleocapsid Conjugate is for the histological diagnosis of Rabies from brain smears by immunofluorescence

    Features & Benefits

Contained the Rabies-specific labelled polyclonal Antibodies
IgG Immunoglobulins are obtained by immunising rabbits with purified nucleocapsids from the fixed Pasteur strain
IgG Immunoglobulins are purified by ion exchange chromatography
IgG Immunoglobulins are coupled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)
IgG Immunoglobulins are adsorbed (after titration) with 10% (final concentration) normal mouse brain suspension
IgG Immunoglobulins are clarified by centrifugation and lyophilised

    Product Size

Contains 4 vials lyophilised conjugate. Each vial contains a quality equivalent to 3 ml of adsorbed labelled immunoglobulins.

    Storage

Storage at 2° to 8°C until the expiration date marked on the packaging. After reconstitution the conjugate can be stored at 4°C protected from light for 15 days.
