Job Summary :
Responsible for developing and supporting the overall marketplace performance and growth of the company’s molecular diagnostics product portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage existing accounts as well as build and maintain new accounts.
Maintain regular contact with existing customers and potential customers via phone, email and direct face-to-face meetings.
Generate leads, qualify and secure client relationships with key decision makers within the target accounts.
Prepare and make sales presentations and structure quality sales proposals.
Qualifications :
Diploma or degree in a medical or life science discipline. Sales experience in a clinical, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics environment, and a strong technical aptitude will be advantageous.
Essential Skills :
A strong ability to communicate and produce business solutions for customers.
Ability to map and plan activities, devising and executing business plans.
The ability to deliver technical and commercial presentations.
Strong exexcutive presence and professional image with the perosnality, drive and enthusiasm to succeed and achieve in this challenging position.
Strong presentation, analutical and customer service skills complimented by an aggressive and solutions-orienyed track record.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to articulate value propositions to clients.
Must be comfortable in a highly collaborative team environment with the ability to effectively coordinate and manage resources in order to move the sales process forward.
