Unlike other reprogramming techniques, which require multiple transfections and 3-4 weeks to clear delivery vectors, CET’s technology requires a single transfection step and delivers reprogrammed colonies in under 20 days with no karyotypic abnormalities.

    Their normal and disease model iPS cell lines were also generated using the same reprogramming method without proto-oncogenes MYC and Lin28 transcription factors, minimizing downstream oncogenic risks for therapeutic developers.
